  Taj Princess Hotel, India

Surrounded by the relics of lost empires, Karol Bagh, New Delhi is a town of mystery and magic. It is a tapestry of medieval fortifications, Mughal mausoleums, dusty bazaars, colonial-era town planning, and mega malls giving a glimpse of its rich history. Karol Bagh, also spelled as Qarol Bagh, is one of the three administrative subdivisions, of the Central Delhi district, of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, with the other two being, Darya Ganj and Paharganj. It is a mixed residential-cum commercial neighbourhood known for its shopping streets, like the Ghaffar Market and Ajmal Khan Road.

The market shimmers with all things sparkly, from dressy lehanga choli or skirt-and-blouse sets to princess-style shoes, spices, fruit and nuts packed in shiny paper, and chrome motorcycle parts. Noted residential places in Karol Bagh are W.E.A, Beadon Pura, Reghar Pura, Dev Nagar, and Bapa Nagar. Truly a shopper's delight for you can find virtually everything here. Ajmal Khan Road has long been famous for inexpensive ready-mades, cotton yarn and embroidered garments. But now international labels have also become equally familiar. At Arya Samaj Road you can buy second-hand books. Bank Street has a row of shops displaying gold jewellery. Ghaffar Market is famous for imported goods.

Karol Bagh is located at a range of 20 to 22 km from Indira Gandhi Terminal and have been maintained through Karol Bagh palace, situated on the Blue Line of Delhi Metro. Indira Gandhi International Airport, located in the west of the city, is the arrival point for many visitors into Delhi.
