Born into a family of spiritual teachers and masters, Amit Raina gained a deep understanding of spiritual principles and practices at a young age. He avidly pursued the path of meditation and yoga, and carries with him the sacred tantric tradition of Shaivism with a visionary and contemporary mindset. He studied in Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, in the sacred city of Haridwar at the faculty of Oriental Studies the philosophy of hatha yoga, asana, pranayama and satkarmas and receive the certificate in yoga. He then went to Bihar School of Yoga in Munger and receive the certificate in Yogic Studies. He is a student of B.K.S Iyengar yoga institute in Pune for more than fourteen years. This is where he learned body alignment, the proper use of props, correct postures and pranayamas. Amit has created a new form of yoga that incorporates all of the powerful teachings he has acquired and combines the comprehensive and congruent new approach to the ancient art of yoga.
