This 200 hour Yoga Meditation training offers a unique mix of yoga practice and wisdom, as well as diving deeply into various practices and teachings of meditation.


The program is designed to cover traditional Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Eastern and Western philosophies and various meditation techniques. 

As part of the curriculum, you will cover approximately 50 basic to intermediate yogic asana and 10 to 15 global guided meditation techniques


The syllabus weaves together ancient Vedic mantra chanting, sadhana, self-realization, the path of individuality to divinity and yogic knowledge of Hatha Yoga. The training also includes Raja Yoga with the modern practices of Nada yoga sound science and teaching methodology.

Bags offers a picturesque taste of Indian village life combined with a transcendent hippy community. The locals go about their daily business of tending vege gardens, goats and dairy cows to the drifting accompaniment of trance music and local cafe culture. Most of the area is inaccessible to vehicles and everything is connected by forest trails and steep, stone pathways leading up the hillside. Many of the old traditional houses share the landscape with recently built guesthouses catering for the increasing number of visitors. 

Bagsu is a place of learning, with a myriad of courses in the field of alternative medicines, self-development and healing. Reiki, Ayurvedic Medicine, Chakra healings, massage, Tai Chi and many different styles of Yoga and meditation are on offer. Bhagsu offers a tranquil space that also hosts many temples (including the Shiv temple) and a well known waterfall with clean cool waters.

Dharamkot and Bhagsu Nag are on the periphery of McLeod Ganj. Both these villages house a multitude of small guest houses, and are good venture points for short and long hikes around Dharamsala and the Dhauladhar mountain range. The town of Bhagsu is 2 km from Dharmsala. The nearest airport is at Gaggal, about 13 kilometres away from Dharamshala. Gaggal airport connects Dharamshala to Delhi via Air India and Spice Jet flights.

Food

Three delicious, healthy and authentic meals are served daily and included in the course for all students. All meals are vegetarian and the center has crafted a menu to support all students nutritional needs during the teacher training courses. Indian food is full of flavour and spice (without being too spicy!) and utilizes plenty of fresh vegetables and herbs as well as home made breads, chappati and the essential component of rice!

A better understanding of the anatomy of the body will help you to practice and teach yoga in a safe way, to fine-tune your alignment and deepen your postures.



Understanding the origins of Yoga, the fundamental ideas on which Yoga practice is based and the ways in which it has developed during the ensuing millennia. We will also help you to navigate through the Ancient Vedas.

You will practice different meditation techniques , some include- Mudra, Mindfulness meditation, Vedic Japa meditation, Transcendental meditation, Anapanasatiyog Buddhist meditation techniques , Vipassana meditation, Kundalini Meditation, Raj yog meditation, Chakra Meditation, Third eye meditation, Mantra meditation, Visualization meditation and many more. You will also have the opportunity to explore, learn and experience the ancient art of Veda Mantra and the magic of chanting.

Learn breathing techniques to increase your energy, release stress, improve your mental clarity, and improve your physical health.

Learn cleansing techniques to make the body clean, strong, free of diseases.

Certification

This course is approved by Yoga Alliance. Upon full completion of the course you will be certified as a 200 hour yoga teacher and can register with Yoga Alliance.
