Daily meditation and yoga classes will be offered in a way to relax, stimulate, and help you grow in your own personal practice.

Classes are open to all levels, beginner to practiced, and can range from gentle, restorative, and more vigorous vinyasa flow and ashtanga styles.

Marrakech, Morocco

Marrakech has stood for close to a thousand years, a city of history and culture. One of the most evocative places in the world, just the name conjures up images of this cultural melting pot – sandstone buildings, dusty streets and towering minarets against deep blue skies immediately spring to mind. Known as The Red City thanks to the hue of the thick walls surrounding the old city, Marrackech is a major economic center and home to mosques, palaces and gardens. The medina is a densely packed, walled medieval city dating to the Berber Empire, with mazelike alleys where thriving souks sell traditional textiles, pottery and jewelry.

Discover the untold stories of Morocco in the magical town of Douar Ladaam! Whether you want a heart-pounding adventure, a luxurious retreat, a trip full of culture, or the most amazing shopping holiday ever, this town will exceed your expectations. Start at action-packed Djemaa el-Fna and head north into Marrakesh’s maze of souks, where Berber tribes once traded slaves, gold, ivory and leather, and where modern tourists scour people-packed alleys for carpet bargains and babouches. If you look carefully, you’ll also spot a number of creative new boutiques and galleries. They signify the evolving face of the medina as a new generation of craftsmen and artists try to connect the city’s hankering for modernity with its traditional craft heritage.

Beyond the souks, the medina is an ideal place to explore private palaces and riad mansions, many of which now provide the city’s most atmospheric accommodation. But it’s worth leaving the old city occasionally for dinner, drinks and art galleries in the ville nouvelle (new town), mountain bike rides in the palmeraie (palm oasis) or horse-riding and weekend retreats in the Agafay Desert and Ouirgane. A symbol of the city, and visible for miles, is the Moorish minaret of 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque.

Marrakech-Menara Airport is an international airport with direct scheduled flights from London, Dublin, Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Paris and Madrid and many charter flights arriving from all over Europe. If you are flying from the US, Canada, Asia or elsewhere, you'll have to change planes in Casablanca. Plenty of low cost companies fly to Marrakech. Some companies fly to Casablanca, where a plane change for the 45 min flight to Marrakech can be made.

Food

With simple yet delicious Moroccan cuisines, the retreat uses only the freshest ingredients from their on-site organic gardens or from local markets. The healthful vegetarian food will be part of your amazing retreat experience, including daily breakfast, and selected lunches and dinners hosted in the venue or out and about in town.

Selection may include tempting dishes and libations like stuffed dates, almond couscous, vegetable terrine, avocado dip, leek tarts, mint tea, pomegranate martini, rose water, and a lot more. The meals are seasonal, and you can guarantee to love and appreciate each bite. The recipes will allow you to explore rich Moroccan cuisine in a cooking class where you'll learn a bit of how to bring the flavors of Marrakesh back home. During the program, you'll also be enjoying a chef tasting lunch and wine pairing in one of the day trips, as well as a henna party during lunch, and an evening tea and snack sessions in the olive grove one night in the outdoor cinema.

Peacock Pavilions, Venue for 7 Day Tea Rituals & Renewal Yoga Retreat, Morocco

A fabulous boutique hotel situated in a secluded and serene land, Peacock Pavilions is located in Marrakesh with 5 acres of olive grove. This stylish and eco-friendly abode has been featured in worldwide publications, including National Geographic Traveler, Elle Decor, Travel+Leisure and more. Deliberately intimate and exclusive, Peacock Pavilions sleeps 10-12 in 2 guest pavilions. Breathtakingly beautiful and luxuriously designed, the living quarters where guests will stay during the retreat features gorgeous fireplaces and glamorous bathrooms in each room. Each bedroom also has its own private terrace - just the right place to enjoy a minty tea or a zingy cocktail.

The entire pavilion property has been decorated with care and loaded with art, special fabrics, and exotic good stuff from all around the world. A stunning place to relax, the salon or the great room has a stunning lacy plasterwork that took weeks to complete. There is also seating and dining areas for intimate discussions and cosy meals. A spiral staircase leads to a catwalk high in the air, where you can sit on vintage embroideries and admire the view. Not only is this place gorgeous, but it's also eco-friendly. Observing "green" building and gardening techniques, you'll feel good about the organic bounty served to your plate, and the hot water you use heated by the solar panels. Spend some free time at the lovely, inviting pool and patio, or join a henna and cocktail party in the painted tent, or perhaps an outdoor cinema night on the lawn.

Just 13 kilometres outside the Medina of Marrakesh, Peacock Pavilion is closest to the Marrakesh- Menara Airport where cabs are easily available should you choose to commute. The Peacock Pavilion offers transfers from the airport to the villa.
